Leading graduate program dealing with environmental ethics and environmental philosophy in the world. Specialists include J. Baird Callicott, Pete Gunter, Eugene C. Hargrove, and Max Oelschlaeger. Study can include, but is not limited to, such topics as deep ecology, ecofeminism, nature aesthetics, comparative environmental ethics, the philosophy of Aldo Leopold, the history of ideas behind environmental movement, process philosophy, Native American perspectives, sustainability, and environmental and ecological economics.
