Detailed Information:
Most of the natural species are fast disappearing due to logging and environmental pollution. Many of these species are unique and can only be found in Borneo. Not only the natural species are in danger of extinction, many of Borneo`s colorful cultures and its indigenous people are facing the same fate. Most of this part of the world are still unexplored despite timber is being felled at an alarming rate, many of the species are still not identified and research are yet to be carried out. The mission of BORNEO is to document as much as possible, all the natural and cultural wonders of this island and to create greater awareness amongst all, and in so doing, to play a major role in the conservation and preservation of the natural environment.
