Detailed Information:
The Nicodemus Wilderness Project is a publicly-supported 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization that was founded because of the need for restoration, stewardship, and protection of Earth's remaining wilderness areas. Conservation of wilderness provides clean air and water, ensures ecosystem integrity, and sustains the rich diversity of life on Earth. Viva Wilderness!!!

Our organization coordinates large-scale events that utilize the resources of the community to provide long-term environmental benefits for wilderness areas. We have established a large and enthusiastic volunteer network that draws upon the diverse strengths of different age groups, races, and cultures to accomplish our common goal of restoring the beauty of the natural landscape. By working together with our community, the Nicodemus Wilderness Project educates the public about the need to conserve the remaining wilderness of the natural world by promoting stewardship of the wild lands and waters that support Earth's biodiversity and ecosystems.
