Cascade Land Conservancy



Cascade Land Conservnacy is a locally based land trust located in Washington state. Our mission is to protect the wild and open landscapes in King, Kittitas, Pierce and Snohomish counties. We are shaping the landscape of our region to ensure that future generations enjoy the same majestic views, have clean air and water, and continue to live in vibrant healthy communities.

Cascade Land Conservancy (CLC) is an entrepreneurial nonprofit land conservation organization, currently working in King, Kittitas, Pierce, and Snohomish counties in Washington state. CLC is uniquely positioned in the conservation community, known for our willingness to take bold steps in partnership with public and private organizations, to address the community’s desire for a healthy environment.

Utilizing a variety of innovative conservation methods, we work to strategically conserve and steward critical landscapes that span our service area – from headwaters to estuaries, and foothills forests to urban centers. Our comprehensive Conservation Agenda enables us to assess threats to ecosystems, identify regional conservation opportunities, and conserve and steward these important lands. We maximize the impact of our conservation and restoration efforts by targeting properties with ecologic functions and benefits that extend beyond their boundaries.

CLC’s land conservation initiatives and restoration efforts help ensure the health of our landscapes for the benefit of all – citizens and wildlife – that live here.
