The American Humane Association is proud to support teachers by providing a FREE program that reinforces pro-social behaviors through a series of engaging and skill-building classroom activities centered on the humane treatment of animals. The program consists of three complete classroom units for grades 3-5, each featuring content pieces, classroom activities, ties to curriculum standards and skills, implementation suggestions, and multiple forms of assessment ranging from classroom projects to writing prompts and multiple-choice tests.
